We always have a number of new books which arrive from the publisher with minor damage -- these are known as "hurts". Particularly with imported books, it's more economical to sell these at a reduced price instead of sending them back to the publisher. Acanthus Books also maintains a supply of used books, some of which are offered here for your consideration, as well as overstock from our regular inventory.
